Unit code - 5B

17 Sep 1944 - NSGr. 10 was formed from II./LLG 1 at Agram Zierkli (Zagreb). The Gruppe consisted of a Stab and 4 Staffeln and was subordinated to Fliegerkorps II[1]

Late Summer 1944 – located at Mayar Mescka, Neusatz and Skoplje.

Oct 1944 – conversion to Ju 87D.

17 Nov 1944 – 2./NSGr 10 was disbanded at Stubendorf. 1./NSGr 5 was renamed as 2./NSGr 10.

Operational in the Northern Balkans and within Luftflotte 4's area of control in Hungary.

9 Apr 1945 - 1./NSGr 10 operational with 9 out of a possible 14 Ju 87Ds available.

20 Apr 1945 – 2./NSGr 10 operating from Feldflugplatz Enns (Upper Austria)[2]

3 May 1945 – 2./NSGr 10 located at Wels (Austria).

May 1945 – NSGr 10 disbanded.


Operational Codes.

The gruppe was assigned the code 5B but is likely to also have used H4, LLG 1s code, in the period immediately following its formation.[3]
