General: 1.6 km South of Barth and 25 km west northwest of Stralsund.

History: laid out 1935-7.

Dimensions: 1280 x 1100 m rectangular in shape.

Runway: Concrete orientated East – West. “Visual Lorenz” night landing system aligned to the runway.

Infrastructure: main buildings located on the north side – one large repair hanger, one large and five medium hangers. Barracks located to the northeast behind the hangers, additional quarters found to the north of the barracks.

Defences:

Remarks: Codename “Festspeilhaus”. Bombing range located on the Zingst peninsula north of Barth.
