General: Einsatzhafen. 22 km west south west of Landsberg and 2 km north east of the town.

History:

1927 - listed as an emergency landing field.

1934 – used as a glider field.

1935-6 – The military airfield was laid out.

Runway: Grass with apron.

Infrastructure: Two hangers (1941), various barracks, stores and munitions bunkers.

Remarks: Codename "Windmühle"

Operational Units: 3./JG 301 (19 Nov – Dec 1943); I./JG 4 (26 Nov – 21 Dec 1943); Stab./JG 101 (20 Jun – Aug 1944); 4./ JG101 (Jun 1944 – 16 Apr 1945); 2./JG 101 (5 Oct 1944 – 16 Apr 1945); Stab./JG 300 (19 Jul – Aug 1944); I./JG 300 (13 Jul – Aug 1944); LKS 4 (used as satellite airfield when at Fürstenfeldbruck); III./JG 3 (25 Aug 1943 – 18 Feb 1944 and 12 Apr - 20 May 1944); FFS A/B 23 (satellite airfield when at Kaufbeuren).
