General: 2.5 km Northwest of Bad Aibling. 43.5 km south-east of München. Fliegerhorst and Leithorst. 10 km west of Rosenheim.

History: Laid out about 1936-7.

29 Apr 1945 – steps being taken to operate Me 262s from Bad Ailbing.[1]

Runway: Grass, concrete taxiways.

Infrastructure: 4 hangers/barracks on north side of airfield.Served by a railway siding. Concrete starting platform on the east of the airfield. Ammunition dump to north west, dispersal to southwest.

Remarks: Codename – Brahe. Allied Airfield code - R86
